Open Space Session

Beginning at 3:30PM, the meeting will gather in the main meeting room where those who are interested in convening a discussion will briefly describe the proposed topic or issue. As participants hear suggestions that they are interested in, they 'negotiate' the topic with the proposer until a critical mass of energy and consensus is formed. As groups are formed, they post a note describing their topic and meeting location and go off to begin. Those participants remaining either propose additional topics or read over the notes on what and where groups are talking and make a decision to join or not join a group.

At the end of the session, each group is asked to provide a brief written report on the topic, participants and a summary of the discussion. These will be posted for others to review as desired.
