Developing a System of National Sustainability Indicators for the U.S. This Work Group's mission is to play an active role in a collaborative effort to establish a system of sustainability indicators for the U.S. that measures progress toward sustainability at the national level. The work of this group builds on the outcome of a meeting sponsored by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and coordinated by ISIN in March 2002 at the Pocantico Conference Center. The meeting involved leaders from non-governmental organizations, local, state and federal governments, academia, and businesses.
